Just when you thought DacEasy for Windows v14 was
incredible….
DacEasy for Windows v15 is here, and it’s packed with features that
you, the customers, have been requesting.
DacEasy for Windows v15 will provide you with greater Speed,
Accuracy, and Control in managing your business.
With over 13 new features, DacEasy for Windows v15 is packed with
time saving features that will make your day run smoother.
There are two BIG features that everyone has been asking for, and
now you have them!
One of the biggest feature DacEasy added is EMAILING!!! Yep, we can now Email anything directly
from DacEasy. Better yet, you can
send a batch of invoices or statements with one click on the button. So for those of you who have asked for
an easy way to email invoices or PO’s,
you now have it.
Another huge feature added to DacEasy is Graphical Forms. So now you can design your own forms
within DacEasy without having to purchase a third-party program. Design your forms with your logo,
lines, boxes even circles. Add
color and make it really stand out.
However the only thing that is still not completely configurable
are the fields, those still print based on the font and color selected in
the printer disposition screen.
Let’s run down all the new features DacEasy v15 as to offer when
it’s released….
SPEED
- Save Report Parameters – Now when you go print
a report, DacEasy will remember the settings you used last time the
report was ran. So if you
always print your AR Agings by Customer Name instead of Code, set it
once and it will always be that way.
- E-Mail Reports and Forms – Emailing is now an
option when you print within DacEasy. Email anything you want like
Invoices, Journals or whatever.
Best part is when you invoice a form like an invoice, it will
automatically grab the email address of the customer/vendor that the
form is tied to! To make life
even easier for you, you can now email all your statements at one
time! This features is HUGE!
- Customizable Lookups – Your F5 key will never
be the same with this feature.
You can now add and/or remove fields from any F5 lookup, or
even change the order of the fields on the lookup if you like. Wish you had a field that’s not
there, no problem! Just
modify the lookup and add the field.
- Un-posted Transaction Indicator – OK it’s month end time
and you can’t close the GL because some transactions are not
posted. With this new
feature, a new window will appear showing you exactly where the
unposted transactions are! No
more guessing where to post.
- Order Status Report Filter – A new features has
been added to this heavily used report. A check box will be added as
another option to indicate whether to include or exclude orders that
have been completed
ACCURACY
- Transaction Note Indicator – Now when you press F5
lookup, you will see an icon indicator if the transaction has a note
attached to it.
- Remove Unused AutoComplete Data – Ever wish you could
remove an entry in the AutoComplete data table? Now you can with v15! You can remove a single entry, all
entries in a field, or all entries in a full screen.
- Federal 1096 Form – DacEasy now will print
your Federal 1096 Form when you print a batch of 1099’s
- Business Analysis Report – The Sales Analysis
Report has been overhauled and is now part of the Business Center’s
growing list of Instant Reports!
- Transaction Validation – Now when you F10
through a transaction, it will verify that the entire transaction
balances and automatically fix itself it it’s not..
CONTROL
- Graphic Form Editor – Are you tired of the
old DOS looking printouts you get?
Now with the new Graphic Form Editor, you can jazz up your
forms. Add lines, boxes,
color, even logos!! Let your
imagination loose with this new feature.
- Export Improvements – The Export
functionality will be improved so it will export to Long filenames
and paths.
- New Payroll Report – A new report called
Employee Vacation and Sick Time will be added that shows the
vacation and sick time that employees have accumulated.
